What a Difference. Caroline and I did a dramatic reading of Jane’s Open Letter, and I am happy to say that seemed to do the trick. She surprised us by taking a walk around the cul-de-sac unprovoked, and even came with me to take Caroline to the train Station. Today she went with me to run errands. She did refuse to get out of car saying, “Paige I know people here! What if someone sees me,” I begged and she would not relent, but baby steps are better than no steps at all.
The cough has been better, She takes an allergy pill in the morning, and then when it wears off her cough starts, so with my vast medical knowledge I have decided she has allergies.
We have been sitting in the garden, and she tells me what to water and what weeds to pull, as she types on the laptop to her public.
She is getting used to the life however, she has written out her menu for tomorrow, and is getting a bit more rebellious and telling we what do. I might have to explain we are not in Upstairs Downstairs.
She has also decided to accept visitors again starting Wednesday. So Email or call the house to arrange the time. 1-4 is the perfect visiting time, and if you want. We are usually sitting out in the garden, bickering or reading.

Why am I not surprised that a dramatic reading did the trick! Good for you, Jane, that you're outside and walking and taking car rides and dishing out orders to the help. :>) Yes, pollen could easily be what is exacerbating an already irritated throat. Glad you can resume your visitors schedules. Can't wait until it's my turn.

ReplyDeleteWhen all the Mooma Jane jokes started, it made me think of this really bad song. I went to "youtube" and behold my really bad humor is now posted for most of the east coast to see. Keep movin' Mama Jane, I know how painful it can be but oddly enough moving makes you feel better.
